Snowmobiling in the wilderness is already an experience itself, but this safari also takes you to meet reindeer and husky dogs. You will hear information about these beautiful animals at the farm and enjoy a short ride (500 m) with them. The Ranua Zoo, approximately one hour drive from Santa Claus Holiday Village, is a popular destination for our international guests and local families. There you will meet the only polar bears living in Finland, along with 50 other Arctic animal species, such as wolf, wolverine, lynx and arctic fox. On the Arctic Circle, close by Santas' Main Office, there is a magic academy of elves. It is an academy like no other - the place where different kind of elves gather to learn the ancient elf wisdoms and crafts. Book elves read and organize larger and smaller books, home elves practice the art of hiding in plain sight, toy elves study the craft of toy making, sauna elves learn secrets of sauna rituals and Santa's elves prepare for the hustle and bustle of Christmas Eve.Of course, it is impossible to learn all Elf wisdom at once, but during your secret visit to our charming academy, the elves will share their tips and tricks on how to become an elf little helper yourself. Expect to become one of the elves, sneak peek into their daily lives in the academy and experience the preparations for Christmas on the Arctic Circle. Upon graduation, our students will receive a special elf mark to symbolize the newly acquired wisdom and, of course, an Elf graduates' diploma to always remember the secrets you learned. The igloos are located on the terrace of our Three Elves restaurant. In the warm igloo, you can observe the darkening sky and, if you're lucky, witness the brilliance of the northern lights in the starry sky. The igloo can be booked for a group of up to 6 people. Dinner in a glass igloo will crown your trip to Lapland!

The menu of the Three Elves restaurant is available in the igloos. When the total amount of ordered food and drinks is at least €300/€350, no separate space rent is charged. If the total amount of ordered food and drinks is less than €300/€350, the difference between the total amount of the restaurant bill and €300/€350 will be charged as space rent. Please note that our Igloo has a frost limit of -20 degrees. If the frost exceeds the limit, the igloo reservation is canceled or moved to the interior of the Three Elves restaurant.

You can ask Santa Claus a variety of questions that preoccupy your mind, or you can listen what Santa Claus wants to tell you and your family. When Santa Claus visits your cabin you can take as many photographs as you wish. You can also request Santa Claus to distribute personal gifts when he comes to visit.

House store before 4 pm on the day of the meeting.

Discover the traditional Lappish way of travelling, reindeer ride, and amazing natural phenomenon, Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a sleigh ride. Nighttime tours are always memorable, and a guided tour is a safe way to explore the magical Lappish night. During the tour, you can feed and take photos with the reindeer. The sound of the panting huskies and the snow underneath your sled is the perfect soundtrack for this adventure. During the tour you will drive your own team of dogs for about about 12-18 km. This is a genuine way to experience the thrill of running a dog-team. There is always time to spend with huskies after the safari, learn some interesting fact about sled dogs and definitely make some nice photos for your memories to take back home. We have nice warm yurt waiting for you after the safari to enjoy stories and hot berry juice.
