The sound of the sled runners on snow, cold Arctic air and a team of eager huskies pulling you through the forest make this one of Lapland’s most unforgettable winter experiences. The route follows snowy trails surrounded by quiet Arctic nature, with two guests sharing one sled and the chance to switch drivers during the ride.
The safari includes a 4–5 km husky ride lasting approximately 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions and the speed of the group. Spend time with Santa Claus in a peaceful forest cabin surrounded by snowy Lapland scenery.
About
We welcome you to meet Santa in truly magical surroundings. This experience is suitable for families with children of all ages. What could be more special than meeting Santa in his private cabin, hidden deep in the snowy forest, and telling him all the reasons why you deserve to be on this year’s nice list?
When Santa is not busy preparing for Christmas at his Christmas House office, his favourite place to spend time is the peaceful forest cabin surrounded by Lapland nature.
During your visit, you will also meet Santa’s trusted elves and join them for a small workshop, where they will share stories about the everyday life of an elf. Together with the elves, you can decorate gingerbread cookies to enjoy during your time in the forest and create your own Christmas decoration to take home as a memory from Lapland.
Of course, Santa could never deliver presents around the world without his loyal reindeer. During the visit, you will have time to meet, feed and take photos with the reindeer as they rest peacefully in the forest before their long Christmas journey begins.
When it is your family’s turn to visit Santa, you will enjoy a private meeting with him inside his forest cabin. Santa takes time for every family personally, and children are welcome to ask questions, share Christmas wishes and enjoy a calm moment together with Santa. You are welcome to take as many photos and videos with your own devices as you wish throughout the visit.

Meet reindeer and huskies, try ice fishing and enjoy an Arctic day outdoors designed especially for families visiting Lapland.
About
Spend a day experiencing some of the most popular winter activities in Lapland during one easy Arctic adventure. This family-friendly tour combines a husky sleigh ride, a traditional reindeer sleigh ride and ice fishing on a frozen lake, making it a great choice for guests wanting to experience several classic Lapland activities in a single day.
Feel the energy of the huskies as they pull the sled through snowy surroundings, then slow the pace with a peaceful reindeer ride through the forest, just as people in Lapland once travelled during winter.
During the ice fishing experience, you will learn how to drill through the thick ice and try catching fish on a frozen lake like the locals do. With a little luck, you may even catch lake trout or other Arctic fish species.
A warm lunch is served during the day in a cosy restaurant, and winter clothing and transfers are included for your comfort.

WHAT OUR GUESTs SAY
Awesome stay in the heart of Santa’s village
We loved the Santa Claus Holiday Village. The Superior cottage had everything we needed, including a small kitchenette with essentials, a comfortable bed and even a personal sauna. Breakfast was great, good buffet spread covering both veggie and meat options and a live omelette counter in the restaurant. The Santa’s office, Arctic circle and all other attractions are less than 5 mins walk away. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
Magic also off season
We came here in september even if Christmas is quite distant in time…to be properly prepared! This place is perfect anyway, Santa is always available so the magic is always confirmed. We look forward to come back in the peak season, thank to all the kind people we met at the reception and restaurant
One of a lifetime experience
If you get the chance to visit Rovaniemi, this is the place to go to. It is close to the airport and the experience here is one of a lifetime.
