Coronavirus Announcement - Cancellation is now possible
Santa Claus Holiday Village has revised its terms and conditions regarding bookings that have been cancelled due to regulations issued by authorities.
Reservations made before 21.9.2020: Customers can change the dates/get a voucher without any costs or the company shall reimburse the customer in full if the trip is cancelled due to travel restrictions imposed by authorities in either the country of departure or the country of arrival.
New reservations made after 21.9.2020: Customers can change the dates/get a voucher without any costs. Or customer can cancel the reservation with office fee 35€ if the trip is cancelled due to travel restrictions imposed by authorities in either the country of departure or the country of arrival.
For instance, this rule applies for cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic regulations. At the same time, the company wants to encourage people to make bookings in a situation where the end of the pandemic and related official restrictions cannot be forecasted. As before, if you are ill with the normal influenza virus, you are not entitled to free cancellation, rather compensation for this should be sought via your travel insurance policy.

How many people can sleep in one apartment?
One apartment (35-47 m²) is meant for a family with a maximum of two adults and two children. As a general rule, families of more than four should rent the whole cabin, or two apartments. The exception is Family Suites, which can accommodate up to two adults and three children.

What kinds of amenities do the apartments include?
All of our apartments include a toilet with soap, a shower and shampoo, a hair dryer, a sauna, a mini-kitchen, a TV, two beds, one sofa bed (145 cm) and terrace. The mini-kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a stove with two burners, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a pot, a frying pan and basic dishes and silverware for four people.
Our superior cottages and Suites also include bathrobes and slippers, a high-quality GHD hair straightener and a hairdryer. And the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher.
What is included in the price of an apartment?
The price includes a buffet breakfast, towels, bedding, a parking place with a car heating post and cleaning after check-out.

Can I bring a pet into the apartment?
Yes you can, as we also have pet-friendly apartments ( availibility limited ). Please inform us in advance and ask availibility if you are planning to bring your pet along. This is extra charge service.

What time can I check in and at what time do I have to check out? Can I arrange additional time?
The normal check-in time is between 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. and the check-out time is 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The night receptionist duty from 12 pm to 7 am. The Holiday Village reception is open 24 h. Guests who arrive att he resort town late at night,is please to announce the arrival time either by email or telephone
I cannot pay for the apartment online. How do I book and pay for the room?
You may make the reservation by sending us an e-mail at email@example.com. The payment will be handled separately.
Do you have luggage storage possibilities?
Yes, for guests who are arriving at or leaving the hotel.
What kind of parking do you offer?
Our customers are provided with a free outdoor parking place with a car heating post.
Where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in the restaurant, which is located near the cabins. Breakfast restaurant may vary depending on room type. Breakfast is included in the price of the apartment.
Where is the nearest store located?
The nearest grocery store, K-market Nivavaara, is about a two-kilometer walk from the village. There is a large supermarket, Citymarket, located around five kilo meter away. The stores located in the center of town are about eight kilo meter away.
There are also stores located in the Santa Claus Holiday Village which offer Lapland-themed souvenirs, groceries and other items.
What kinds of transport connections are there to the center?
You can get to the center of Rovaniemi in ten minutes by taxi, bus or by your own car. The airport is around five minutes away. You can also order our free transport to and from the airport.
